BNI Presentation Ideas
I often have clients ask me what they should present at their BNI meetings so I thought I would share some ideas. Of course there are many more.
1. Market update, share the price ranges that are healthy in the market, the areas and price ranges that may be softer, the opportunity for those in the healthier range to move up to a house they never thought they could ever afford to people who are able to move up. Close by asking if they are in a position or know anyone in a position where they would like to know how all this affects their property.
2. Financing, dispel the crazy rumor that mortgage money is hard to find and give examples of down payments, Seller concessions, total closing costs. Close by asking if they know of anyone that would like to discuss whether they are in a position to buy.
3. Describe that this is possibly the best time to be buying Real Estate in decades. Then focus on all the reasons it is a great time for first time Buyers and/or the move-up Buyer's described above, and/or for investing in Real Estate. Use the expression, "This is the market that two or three years from now people are going to be saying that they wish they had the foresight to buy in 2009. Don't be one of those people and don't let the people you care about be one of those people because I am giving you the insight today.
4. Use the quotes from Warren Buffett, "I sell when people are buying. I buy when people are... desperate." And, "I am cautious when people are greedy and greedy when people are cautious." Then ask the question, "Are people desperate and cautious right now." And go on to say that the sharpest investors are buying now. If they own investment Real Estate or ever wanted to this the best market in decades.
