A Planned Light Day

For many years now I plan a light day of work on Thursdays.  Most weekdays are full of coaching calls.  So, I really cannot effectively get into a project that requires a concentrated effort.  So, on Thursdays I don’t schedule coaching calls.  That gives me the freedom to manage our business plan, write creatively, think creatively, and handle meetings with my staff and vendors that require more creativity.

It’s a different kind of pressure that is a welcome break.  Those of you who are avid runners understand that one of the ways you add energy, focus, and relaxation to your run is to either speed up or slow down.  The change of pace refreshes you.

So, it is Thursday.  I just finished recording a piece for a product.  I communicated with a new vendor over our Reseller’s Agreement.  Chava and I spent some time talking about our Business Model.  I just returned from presenting in Denver and now I am preparing for a Miami presentation  this weekend, I love these change of pace days.

I realize I misnamed it above.  It is not a light day.  It is a change of pace day.
