Good Marketing increases sales

Talking to Agents about marketing frustrates me.  So many Agents send so much junk and get so little in return.  I spent months trying to wean one of my clients from self promoting marketing pieces that were bringing her nothing.  She finally followed my advice and she got three leads from the first piece she sent.  Now remember she sent this to the same people who were getting the other stuff.  Only this brought real business. 

I guess I understand why I get so much resistance talking to Agents about marketing.  After all there are lots of companies selling Agents what I call good junk.  It is good in quality but junk in content and business generated from it. 

I spent the past ten years continuously improving marketing sent to my clients.  We know what works because we both design it with them and closely measure the appointments, listings, and sales derived from it. 

I’ll write some articles about this and spend more time with my coaches making sure they are identifying the weaknesses in our clients marketing and offering to improve it.
