I got to tell you, as an agent being in the business less then 5 years, I have noticed one thing.  If your life is in turmoil, so will your business. People don’t understand that we agents also have families, we get sick, we need vacations and we just plain get burned out.  I am having such stress about taking one lousy week off – the first I have taken in 3 years mind you.

I find one of the hardest parts of this business is the other agents.  I am so frustrated with agents’ lack of common sense.  I actually received a call from an agent after 10:00PM for a mere status report on a transaction in pending.  If we were negotiating a contract and were one of three offers – OK I could see the need but let’s use some judgment people! If we agents instilled an element of reasonable hours of doing business then perhaps our clients would follow suit.
